A tribute to the great Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, this collection has been inspired by the slender Venetian palaces he had designed.
The collection inspired by Palladio’s vision proposes lamps with rigorous and scenographic shapes, like the columns that add distinctiveness to the Venetian skyline.
The glass used are elements recovered from the 60s and 70s with terminals similar to the decorated capitals that radiate bright colors softened by gold and aventurine hues.

Sylvia is a French-born artist with a background in fashion and jewelry design as well as antique dealing who was progressed into glass design after she moved to Venice in 1987. With a growing collection of valuable salvaged glass produced by Murano masters over the past century and an in-depth understanding of the relationship between light and color, Sylvia started creating collections of beautifully sculpted glass lamps. Over the years, she has developed a personal approach to glass design and created a highly individualized expression through her art. Sylvia skillfully brings together volumes and shapes, colors and textures to achieve striking contemporary harmonies that stem from combining new glass with vintage gems.
These glass sculptures incorporate glass objects once made by famous Murano glass masters such as Cenedese, Vistosi, Sottsas, Seguso, Barovier and many more, highly sought after today by savvy glass collectors.
Each piece is a unique work of art.
